Ok, basically i find this song easiest to play by finger picking. use your thumb
to play the bass notes on the first and third count of every measure and your
fingers to strum.
(if youre not familiar with the chord notation: C/B, Am/G, etc.. it means a C
chord with a B note in the bass, or Am chord with a G in the bass. For example:
C/B = x22010 Am/G = 3x2210

Cet après-midi, 16 juillet, ce fut une petite répétition avec Léa pour la chanson Fragile. Elle n'était pas très dans le mood. Alors j'ai joué et fredonné d'autres chansons, juste pour le plaisir du moment. Il y avait, entre autres, Mr. Bojangles et sans que je lui demande quoi que ce soit, Léa se tourne vers moi et me dit "c'est beau, ça, j'aime" . Mais je ne connais que le premier couplet par coeur. Il y a 4 autres couplets à apprendre. J'ai la flemme. Si je (on) la joue, va falloir les paroles sur un ...lutrin.

Bon, j'accouche, je ne passe pas par quatre chemins et je te dis ce que je pense depuis un bon moment. Tu en f'ras ce que tu voudras :

J'ai un peu peur de jouer avec toi --- ou toi avec moi --- c'est que tu joues toujours trop vite les chansons. Tu ne les laisses pas "respirer" . Tu embarques dans une chanson et plus rien d'autres ne comptent autour de toi. Tu voudrais qu'on fasse tout comme tu le fais sinon ça ne marche pas et tu décroches., tu passes à autres choses.

Je me souviens de la chanson Knockin On Heaven's Door qu'on avait essayés de jouer à la maison il y a ...euh, quelques années de cela. Tu ne pouvais pas me suivre, ma version était trop lente pour toi. Tu as commencé à la jouer en accélérer et de plus en plus fort. Je ne pouvais plus m'entendre et c'est moi qui ai décroché. J'ai arrêté. Ce genre de situation s'est produit plusieurs fois. Et, tu vois, j'ai peur que ça se reproduise à nouveau.

Néanmoins, je suis d'accord (si on le peux) de trouver un juste milieu pour voir (entendre) si on peut réussir à jouer ensemble.
